Zone 3, founded in 1986 by David Till and Malcolm Glass, is a nonprofit literary journal published by the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts at Austin Peay State University. In our long history, we’ve published work by William Stafford, Marge Piercy, Judith Ortiz Cofer, Diane Wakoski, Neal Bowers, Coleman Barks, Michael Burkard, Ioanna Warwick, R.T. Smith, and George Scarbrough. Recent contributors include A. Van Jordan, David Keplinger, Paulette Roeske, Gina Ochsner, Robert McBrearty, Michael Blumenthal, Andrew Kozma, Leigh Anne Couch, David Dodd Lee, Daniel Tobin, Kate Northrop, Vanessa Hemingway, Nancy Eimers, and Christina Mengert....Our mission is to publish the best contemporary writing available, from both beginning and established writers.
