Inklette is a not-for-profit online literary magazine helmed by high-school and college students from all over. Inklette believes in the ability of art and literature to strike our consciousness in inexplicable ways. We believe that a good work of art can make us feel that our backs are ‘straight road(s) to the sky,’ as Brigit Pegeen Kelly puts it. We love art- whether it moves, stays, mingles or creates. Let your work be the keyhole into a completely different world. We don’t order Greek salads here; we order the organic home blend that’s unique in your café.

Our Masthead includes a California Arts Scholar, attendees of the Iowa Young Writers' Studio, a member of the Nat Geo Your Story Community, published authors, a TEDx speaker, a member of the National English Honours Society and the Editor-in-chief of an underground satirical newspaper.

In the first issue, we published both emerging and established writers from all over the globe. Our contributors include Pushcart Prize nominees, a Best of the Net nominee, MFA candidates at the Universities of Tampa and Alaska and the Rainier Writing Workshop as well as a Best New Poet 2015, Best American Short Story Writer 2015 and a widely-known novelist.
